How about meeting meerkats, sleep-outs, riding quads, visiting Makgadikgadi, boat safaris and experiencing the entire Okavango Delta? We know all the hidden gems of Botswana and know exactly how to go on safari safely with the whole family. And that in the most unspoilt nature of Africa, it doesn’t get any better!

Day 1 - 2

Welcome to the relaxed safari capital.

Your first footsteps on Botswana soil. Welcome everyone to Botswana! Our local colleague will receive you personally, after which you will have plenty of time to discover the relaxing Maun. Highly recommended, because Maun is the safari capital of Botswana. A tip for you and the kids: lunch at The Duck or The Dusty Donkey. As parents, do you fancy a thirst quencher? Have a beer at the Okavango Brewery, Pula! Then it is of course time for bed and everyone sleeps wonderfully at one of our favorite B&Bs. When you wake up, the adventure really begins.

Day 2 - 4

Spend the night under an unimaginable starry sky!

Hit the road! Today you will leave together with an experienced driver to the fantastic campsite of Planet Baobab, a drive of approximately 2 hours. Do you see any wildlife along the way? After a wonderful night in one of the accommodations, something great is on the agenda. You will go on an expedition by quad bike across the Makgadikgadi salt pans, spend the night in the open air under an unimaginable starry sky and wake up to the most beautiful sunrise! To top it all off, you will meet a meerkat colony. After returning from this ‘once in a lifetime’ experience you will be taken back to Maun, where a Bushplane awaits you!

Day 4 - 6

Bushwalks and mokoro tours that's what they are good at here.

We bet the kids will enjoy this! Today you will see Botswana from the air, another new experience! The pilot of the reliable bush plane will fly you into the Okavango Delta and land at Oddballs Camp. This eco camp in the middle of a private concession in the Okavango Delfta is the place to stimulate that wonderful ‘back to basic’ feeling. Adventure par excellence! We go even further with bush walks and mokoro tours. Discover the bush on your own! But there is also a lot happening in the camp itself: enjoy the view of the lagoon and toast while the wild animals pass by. Fall asleep with the sound of the bush as your soundtrack? Life can’t be better!

Day 6 & 9

Shinde Footsteps offers an all-over Delta experience

Touchdown! You carefully land on the Shinde airstrip. Here too, you will of course be welcomed with Botswana warmth. The first present? The trip from the airstrip to bush camp Shinde Footsteps is truly breathtaking. The small and charming Shinde Footsteps itself is also wonderful. This is where your all-over Delta experience really takes shape: boat cruises on the canals of the Delta, mokoro trips, walking safaris and of course various game drives. This can even be done at night! Create the ideal program together with your guide. By the way, off-roading is allowed in this private area, so fasten your seat belts!
