Day 1

Welcome to the relaxed safari capital.

Ready, set, go! Welcome to the first chapter of your safari in Botswana: welcome to Maun. Our local colleague provides a warm welcome and helps with check-in for the first bushplane flight to Selinda Explorers from Great Plains Conservations, the adventure starts to begin!

Day 2 - 4

The lodge has just four tents in the middle of the Selinda Private Reserve!

Check-in with Selinda Explorers of Great Plains Conservations! The guide for the coming days is ready at the airstrip with the safari car for the drive to this intimate camp. The lodge has just four tents in the middle of the Selinda Private Reserve. Every day you go on a game drive, walking safari or a trip with the mokoro (canoe) with the best guides, if the water level allows it. The sheer variety of wildlife in this area is overwhelming. The famous large herds of elephants and buffalos visit the area in the dry season, the big predators are always nearby! Adventure in one of Botswana’s wildest areas!

Day 4-6

The Savuti Marsh Pride, a pride of more than 20 lions that dominate the area…

Sleep 2 nights in a “back to basic” tent camp in the middle of the Savuti Marsh Pride habitat, a group of 24 lions, it doesn’t get more exciting! Savuti Under Canvas from AndBeyond a great bush experience with high-end service. The camp is located in the middle of the Savuti wilderness, you live in nature. From this camp you go on a daily game drive to explore the area and spot wildlife. Rock hills, interspersed with mopani bush and large open plains make this savannah landscape amazing. Day 6 - 9

Step into the world of National Geographic

Your last stop! and what kind of person you will stay at Duba Explorers for the last 3 nights. A small lodge with 5 luxury safari tents in the middle of the Okavango Delta. Documentaries by Nat. Geo. are recorded here by Great Plains owners Dereck & Beverly Joubert. Fantastic safaris with morning, afternoon and evening drives, bush walks and boating when water levels permit, which is almost all year round. Surrounded by the pure wilderness, sightings of predators such as lions, leopards and wild dogs are ultimate. The knowledge of nature and the luxury that Great Plains is known for in one of the most beautiful places in the Okavango Delta!

Day 9

You've made lifetime memories.

All good things come to an end. Today you fly back to Maun where you check in for your next destination. But it’s up to you to keep this adventure alive for as long as possible. Tell your stories, show your photos, inspire others. Botswana deserves to be seen by friends and family.  Of course we are also curious about your adventures and would love to meet up.
