Day 1 - 3
Start with one of the seven natural world wonders
Finally landed on African soil!! Your first step of an amazing adventure! You will stay for 2 nights in Victoria Falls at the Shongwe Look Out Guest Lodge, a wonderful place to recover from your long journey. From here you can easily visit the waterfalls and the town of Victoria Falls. Enjoy a cold beer at The Brewery or lunch at the Look Out Cafe overlooking the legendary bridge between Zimbabwe & Zambia. And what is your next plan, are you more of a dinner cruise type, or do you go for the adrenaline rush during a white water raft tour of the mighty Zambezi? Ready for Botswana? the next morning a driver ensures that you get to Kasane on time, where the guide of the next stay is ready
Day 3 - 5
Overlooking the seasonal flood plains of the Chobe River from the sundeck. Ngoma Safari Lodge is hidden in the middle of the Chobe Forest Reserve near the Ngoma Border to Namibia. You’re ready for your first adventure in the bush. In the first evening you will take a game drive through the quiet area along the Chobe River. Enjoy the amazing sunsets while you drink your sundowner and realize that your safari adventure has now really begun. The next day you get ready for a full day in the bush including bush lunch and boat safari on the Chobe River. Bathing elephants, yawning hippos and lazing crocodiles, so enjoy to the max! But don’t forget to enjoy the wonderful lodge with fantastic staff. From here you continue, you are ready for your first flight with Bushplane!
Day 5 - 8
Discover this super wild Khwai concession.
There you go, the first bushplane flight, enjoy the views and admire the vast landscape. Then you land on the sandy airstrip of Khwai, Dumela the guide is ready for you! On to Machaba Camp, in the middle of the Khwai area, right on the river. Mokoro tours, walking safaris and game drives day and night. That is what is on the program in this super wild area full of wildlife. Machaba Camp is your home for the next 3 nights, what a place. Take a dip in the pool, watch the animals that visit the river or take a siesta in your luxury tent. Everything is available at this place so you won’t be bored for a moment. Also take the time to visit Khwai Village and meet the local people. Than there’s the time to say goodbye to the lovely staff. The guide will take you to the airstrip to continue your adventure
Day 8 & 11
The last stop on your Botswana adventure
You depart from Khwai airstrip and land 30 minutes later in concession NG 32. Private area where Kiri Camp is based. The new born kid in the Machaba Family. Walking safaris, water activities when water levels permit, off-road game drives day and night. It’s all in the game! And don’t forget that the area is known for its sublime wildlife sightings. At Kiri camp you can enjoy the delicious food and the love of the staff in between all these activities. Take time for a siesta in your wonderful accommodation, or enjoy the view over the flood plain from the sundeck. Never a dull moment at Kiri! This stop will complete your classic Botswana safari adventure.
Day 11
Collecting safari stories during your return trip.
All good things come to an end. Today you fly back to Maun where you check in for your next destination. But it’s up to you to keep this adventure alive for as long as possible. Tell your stories, show your photos, inspire others. Botswana deserves to be seen by friends and family. Of course we are also curious about your adventures and would love to meet up.
