Your 17-day itinerary
Day 1 - 3: The start: from Maun to Boteti
The adventure starts to begin!
Your adventure begins in safari capital Maun. Here you will meet your fellow travelers and guide: an instant connection. After the introduction and briefing, you will board the 4×4 truck and head towards Boteti River Camp, on the edge of the Makgadikgadi National Park. Along the way, you will learn about the landscape and the camp team will set up the first camp. In the afternoon, there is a village walk or a game drive. The camp has permanent facilities, so you can settle in comfortably. A nice start, where the group feeling quickly blossoms under the Botswanan sun.
Day 2 - 6: The silence of the Kalahari
The silence of the Kalahari
The journey continues deeper into the wilderness: to the heart of the Central Kalahari. Here you will camp for four nights in the middle of one of the largest protected nature reserves in Africa. No fences, no light pollution. Just stars, silence, and excitement. Together you will move from camp to camp through Passarge Valley and Deception Pan. Every morning and evening, there will be a game drive in search of the famous Kalahari lions, springboks, and perhaps even cheetahs. This is Botswana in its purest form. Raw, spacious, and so impressive that you feel small. In a very nice way.
Day 6 - 7: Time to relax again in Maun
Take a moment to recharge in Maun
After the last morning game drive through the Kalahari, you return to Maun. Time to relax, take a shower, and maybe enjoy a beer on the terrace. Here you can recharge, have your clothes washed, or book an optional scenic flight over the Okavango Delta (a breathtaking perspective from the sky). From the air, you can see meandering channels, elephants, giraffes, and hippos. The evening is free to spend as you like, and dinner is not included today, a great opportunity to dive into a restaurant with your group and share your Kalahari stories.
Day 7 - 9: By mokoro through the Okavango Delta
In mokoros through the Okavango Delta
Early in the morning, you depart towards the southern border of the Okavango Delta. Here, you board traditional mokoros (narrow traditional dugout canoes) and slowly glide over the still waters. Through papyrus and lilies. What will you spot? Elephants, hippos, and the beautiful birdlife. You will spend the night(s) on a deserted island, without fences, surrounded by the sounds of frogs and birds. In the evening, a campfire, stories, and stars. And oh yes, the walking safaris bring you even closer to nature. This is magic. Pure connection with the Delta, the animals, and your group.
Day 9 - 13: The splendor of Moremi & Khwai
The beauty of Moremi & Khwai
After another night in familiar Maun, the journey goes towards Moremi Game Reserve. One of the best places for wildlife in all of Africa. Together, you will go on game drives through wet marshes, open grasslands, and mopane forests. Buffalo, lions, wild dogs: the chances of encounters are high here. The camp team will treat you to fresh meals (and warm shower water). You will spend the last night in the adjacent Khwai concession area. That means even more opportunities for spectacular sightings and a completely different atmosphere. A sunrise with the first call of the fish eagle? You will never forget it.
Day 13 - 15: Via Savuti to elephant paradise Chobe
Via Savuti to elephant paradise Chobe
Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, is the next destination. As you meet more wildlife, you also cross the drier area of Savuti. Bet that you will come face to face with a herd of elephants on the way to the northern Chobe river! Upon arrival at the destination, you make game drives along the banks of the Chobe river. Then it’s time to set up camp in the designated areas with bush sanitation. First, you will spend 1 night in the Savuti area, then you will move on to the northern part of the park, close to the Chobe river.
Day 15 - 16: Thunderous finale at Victoria Falls
Thunderous finale at Victoria Falls
After a short yet just as beautiful game drive in the early morning, it’s time for the next boundless adventure. Boundless? Yes, because you will cross the border into Zimbabwe. There, you will definitely be overwhelmed by the Victoria Falls. There is plenty of time to visit the falls themselves, make sure to take your time for that. At the end of the day, it’s time for a night in luxury, to unwind with the group in a comfortable lodge (dinner at this location is at your own expense). Well-deserved rest!
Day 17: Group trip, group safari or group feeling?
Group trip, group safari, or group feeling?
After breakfast, this group safari officially comes to an end. A part of the group heads home, while others extend their stay by a few days at Vic Falls. But what remains is the feeling: sharing sunrises, game drives, campfires, and quiet wonder. And who knows… you might meet again later. Safaris connect. Botswana never lets you go.
