“No room for doubt: here you feel the adrenaline of Africa”
Lebala is located in the southern part of the vast Kwando concession. This area is known for its open plains, swamps, and predators, many predators. The name ‘Lebala’ translates to ‘open space’ in Setswana. The camp itself is comfortable and spacious, but the true luxury here is the wilderness, the lack of other vehicles, and the fact that you never know what lies around the corner.
Great plains, great wildlife
The Kwando concession where Lebala is located borders the Mamili National Park in Namibia and offers migration routes for elephants, buffaloes, and zebras. These attract predators such as lions, wild dogs, and hyenas. Safaris here are intense, sometimes raw, but always authentic.

True safari under canvas
Lebala is a classic safari camp: 8 spacious tented suites with wooden floors, ensuite bathrooms, outdoor showers, and a private veranda. One family tent also makes it suitable for adventurous families. The decor is simple yet stylish; the focus is on outdoor living.

Guide and tracker = see more
With a separate tracker on the hood and a guide at the wheel, you increase your chances of unique sightings. This duo is trained in animal behavior, tracks, and hiding spots. Activities include:
- Birdwatching and seasonal predator observations
- Game drives (also in the evening)
- Bush walks with a armed guide
Adventure without distraction
Lebala Camp is not a lodge for people seeking luxury in the form of air conditioning or infinity pools. This is where you come for fire conversations, dusty feet, and pure safari experience. Yet, there are nice extras, such as good food, a swimming pool, and warm, attentive service.

“Watch for interactions between wild dogs and lions; this is where territories are really contested”
