“In the front row at the Boteti river, the animals come to YOU. Especially during the dry season, you’re guaranteed a spectacle.”
Leroo La Tau is situated on an elevated bank by the Boteti river, on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Particularly in the dry months, this is the place where wildlife gathers: thousands of zebras, wildebeests, elephants, lions, and sometimes even leopards make their way to the last available water in the area. So our advice: head there too! Because from your suite or the central deck, you have a spectacular view. You’re literally sitting in the front row of an endless nature theater.
Elegance with a view, that’s Leroo La Tau
Leroo La Tau by the Boteti river features 12 luxury chalets, all built on an elevated wooden deck. Each chalet has sliding glass doors, an ensuite bathroom, and a veranda with panoramic views of the river. Essentially, you’ll never want to leave your own chalet. However, the main building is also atmospherically decorated with large windows, a fire pit, a restaurant, and a pool overlooking the water. So make sure to indulge yourself by coming out of your lovely chalet and relaxing around the fire pit with a nice drink.

The place of migrations and predators
During the dry season, Leroo La Tau is the hotspot where the zebra and wildebeest migration offers an unforgettable spectacle. Yes, of course, with the accompanying predators in their wake! Truly a must-see. During the green months, the landscape changes completely, but it remains captivating due to the variety of birds, antelopes, and elephants. In short, Leroo La Tau is inviting all year round.
