“Why does everyone want to go back to Sable Alley?”
Sable Alley is beautifully located by a lagoon full of hippos, in the heart of the Khwai Private Reserve. The camp offers stylish comfort, spacious tents with water views, and one of the best wildlife experiences in all of Botswana. It’s a camp where you wake up with elephants on your veranda, where safaris are spectacular, and where the camp itself feels like coming home in the bush. Curious why Sable Alley is so beloved?

Stylish tents with a view
This camp has twelve spacious tents, including two family tents and one honeymoon suite. Each tent is built on an elevated wooden deck and overlooks a permanent lagoon. The decor is warm and natural, featuring a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, indoor and outdoor shower, and a private veranda with lounge chairs.
Prime location in Khwai
The camp is located in a 200,000-hectare private concession bordering Moremi and Chobe. Thanks to its exclusive nature, there are few other vehicles in the field, and night drives and off-road safaris are allowed. The combination of water, forest, and savanna makes this one of the most biodiverse regions in Botswana.

Activities for every safari lover
- Game drives (morning, afternoon, and evening)
- Mokoro and boat safaris (during high water)
- Walking safaris with professional guides

Wildlife without borders
Sable Alley is named after the rare sable antelope that lives here, but that’s just the beginning. You’ll also find elephants, buffalo, hippos, giraffes, lions, leopards, and wild dogs. From the central lounge or your own veranda, you often see animals passing by – safari without leaving your tent.

Cozy camp with a heart
The main area of this camp in Botswana is spacious and atmospheric, with an open lounge, bar, fire pit, and a swimming pool overlooking the lagoon. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, with staff who know you by name. The camp feels like a perfect balance between barefoot luxury and an authentic bush vibe.
