Meno a kwena

Boteti River, Makgadikgadi NP

Meno A Kwena is a remarkable safari camp bordering the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, situated on the banks of the Boteti River. Hyena Pan

Hyena Pan is a cozy and comfortable tented camp situated in the woodlands of the Khwai Private Game Reserve. This intimate camp is renowned for attracting large groups of elephants to its waterhole during the dry season. A unique feature of Hyena Pan is its underground photo hide, offering guests the opportunity to capture stunning close-up photos of the wildlife that frequents the waterhole. Skybeds has 3 towers of 2 floors each, equipped with a bathroom and toilet on the first floor. On the top floor there is a gigantic four-poster bed where you can spend the night. Fall asleep under the most beautiful starry sky you have ever seen and with the sound of drinking elephants visiting the waterhole in the background. Sky Beds offers a “once in a life time experience”.

Nestled among palm and acacia trees, it is ideal for families, groups, and couples looking to explore the charms of the desert and the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans. The lodge features cozy communal areas, a delightful pool, and well-appointed Meru tents, ensuring a comfortable stay. In addition to game drives and bushwalks with the San (Bushmen), guests at Camp Kalahari can also experience the desert on horseback, offering a unique and adventurous way to discover the landscape.

Mokolwane is situated in the heart of a vast 200,000-hectare reserve. With a landscape of open floodplains, expansive grasslands, and mopani and palm forests, it’s no wonder this region is home to a diverse array of wildlife in the Okavango Delta. With almost no other camps in the area, it offers an exclusive safari experience. Mokolwane features beautiful canvas tents, each with an ensuite bathroom. This simple yet stunning small camp overlooks the Matsebi River. Daily activities at Mokolwane include game drives, walking safaris, and mokoro excursions, providing guests with a variety of ways to explore the incredible surroundings.

Planet Baobab is a popular accommodation choice for those visiting the Makgadikgadi salt pans. The charming huts are built in an African style and are fully equipped with all necessary amenities. Self-drivers are welcome to camp here. Between activities, guests can relax by the pool or enjoy the cozy African restaurant/bar with a campfire. Offering excellent value for money, Planet Baobab provides access to wonderful activities such as bushman walks, visits to a meerkat colony, and sleep-outs on the pans.

Maun

Thamo Telele is a lodge in Maun, situated in a 250-hectare private wildlife reserve on the edge of the iconic safari town, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. This comfortable lodge has recently been renovated. The luxury tented suites and chalets are all nestled under beautiful large trees, offering peace and comfort in total privacy. Thamo Telele also provides the opportunity for horseback riding excursions. In the private reserve, research is conducted on various giraffe species, and the researchers are happy to share their knowledge with you. Thamo Telele is a wonderful place to start or end your safari.
